Rift Grows. CT State Police Brass To Union And Public; Take It Or Leave it

Despite growing public criticism over consolidation of Connecticut State Police dispatch units in western Connecticut, Public Safety Commissioner Reuben Bradford and Col. Danny Stebbins told a community gathering in Torrington on Friday, they are going forward with their plan. Their announcement comes in advance of a no-confidence vote to be held by the state police troopers union, which lists dispatch consolidation as one of many grievances it has against the state police leadership.
