Connecticut Joins Fight Against Suit Filed By White Female Student, Who Claims Discrimination

Connecticut has joined13 other states in urging the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold racial quotas, when it comes to college admissions.  Abigail Fisher, a white student, has filed a lawsuit,

claiming she was not admitted to the University of Texas in 2008 because of quotas and that her civil and constitutional rights were violated.  The Supreme Court will hear arguments in the case on Oct. 10.
