A couple of weeks ago I wrote, if Connecticut passed more gun control legislation, the state-based gun makers who threatened to leave Connecticut, should. Well, it has started. PTR Industries of Bristol, Connecticut announced on its Facebook and website pages, it is leaving Connecticut. It has also invited its employees to join them.
Connecticut has had a reputation of being anti-business. This latest action enhances the resume. Connecticut’s so-called leaders have delivered another message on how it really feels about business. PTR Industries understood the answer. Hopefully, the other gun-related industries in Connecticut – and the 3,000 jobs that go with it – will get the message too.
