Trump tops Clinton in final night viewership

Donald Trump

televisionThis might not sit well with the mainstream media, but Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump drew more viewers to the TV screens that Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Thursday night.  NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, Fox News and MSNBC drew 27.8 million viewers to Clinton’s historic acceptance speech.  That compares to the 30.2 million viewers who watched Trump’s acceptance speech the Thursday night before.

Record numbers are anticipated, when Trump and Clinton square off in their first debate on Sept. 26 at Hofstra University.
